HERE ARE SOME OF OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

Why not walk the light to light walk taking in three iconic light houses on your walk.

Point Hicks was the first bit of Australian coast line discovered by Captain Cook and is the starting point of this amazing walk. Your first Light House is on this headland and provides accommodation in quaint little houses or you can camp at the Thurra river camp site.

The second Light House is Gabo Island which you walk past on the walk or during your stay in Mallacoota a boat transfer can be organised for a day trip to the Island. Your third and final Light House is Green Cape that juts out of Disaster Bay in NSW. This is a nine day hike with a break in Mallacoota to replenish your packs.

Also do pick ups and drop offs from Merimbula Airport and taken to and from the walks you choose to do. This gives you a quick escape from your fast City life to recharge your batteries.

Also do day trips to all three Light Stations with food and drinks provided and smalls walks during the trip.

The bird life in these Wilderness areas has to be seen to be believed, from Eastern Bristle Birds to Ground Parrots and Wading Birds you will experience a vast range of birds.
